Taktsang Monastery, famously known as Tiger Nest Monastery, is located in Paro, Bhutan.
Chele la (pass) at an elevation 13000 ft asl is considered to be one of the highest motorable passes in Bhutan.
Paro is a historic town with many sacred sites and historical buildings scattered through the area. In addition, the Paro Valley is wide and verdant and is recognized a one of the most beautiful in all Bhutan. Prefer to stay in Paro if you are someone who is fond of nature and would like to spend quiet and peaceful time.
Check-in time is 2 hours before flight departure and counter closes 40 minutes before departure time.

Travelers are advised to carry valid travel documents (passports/cid original) at all times with minimum 6 months validity. Indian Nationals travelling from paro to India can travel with their original voters ID. For Bhutanese citizenship ID card is accepted to travel India. Original birth certificate for child and infants should be carried at all times.
Passengers with connecting flights or onward journey must have minimum 4 hours transit time. Information on transit flight must be passed on to the staff at the check in counter.
