Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and the largest metropolitan city, the other two sister cities are Patan or Lalitpur and Bhaktapur. The short form of Kathmandu is KTM, in terms of area Kathmandu valley is only slightly smaller than Singapore.
There are two check-in points, A and B. All outbound flights to Paro are checked-in from block A and Delhi bound flights are checked-in on block B on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Our check-in counters are not permanently designated to us therefore we advise you to check beforehand on the display boards that sure located outside the terminal. Check-in time is 3 hours before flight departure and counter closes one hour before departure time.
Special service request should be made at the time of booking the ticket so that we can make the necessary arrangements.

Travelers are advised to carry passports at all times with minimum 6 months validity. Indian Nationals travelling from Kathmandu to Delhi and vice versa can also travel with their original voters ID. Passengers with connecting flights or onward journey must have minimum 3 hours transit time. Information on transit flight must be passed onto the staff at the embarking station so that the information is passed onto us. Arrangements can be made provided we are pre-informed.
Always carry a minimum of USD 50 for obtaining visa on arrival. Only USD is acceptable for the visa fee.
